Owners Chris and Patrick Donahue pride themselves on providing a casual, friendly environment in which to enjoy great food and good times at Donahue’s, the only place on the shoreline with outstanding food and great music. With a cozy, traditional décor and charming fireplace, Donahue’s encapsulates both dining and entertainment in one venue.
Donahue’s serves up fresh seafood, homemade New England clam chowder and lobster bisque soups, premiere salads, steaks, burgers, and a variety of daily specials. The sizable bar features nine flat-screen TVs-customers will find all sports on all networks from a satellite sports package. On weekends, live music can be heard coming from the built-in stage with lights and sound. Wednesdays show cases veteran and upcoming talent with open mic night.
The Donahues own seven family owned and run establishments throughout Fairfield County. They opened their first place, Rory’s, in Darien 30 years ago and it’s still in operation today.
